Teal Murano Shell

Vintage murano clam shell dish in a dark teal shade, with a delicate yellow base. Handmade and mouth-blown in the 1970's, using the sommerso technique, which combines multiple colors of glass. 

This piece has two faceted bases, which allow for it to be positioned upright or in a slanted position (see photos). 

Measuring 12 x 7 cm, in excellent condition, with a few very small bubbles throughout (see photos).
