Nove Rose Pink Plate

Nove Rose is an iconic Italian ceramic pattern. It was originally produced in the 1920s and 1930s, using the Majolica technique.

This plate is 24 cm across, with pink scalloped edges and a floral pattern across the centre. 'Handmade in Italy' and 'Dipinto a mano' (painted by hand) is written on the bottom. There are no chips or damage, but the plate does have 'crazing' or light surface cracks throughout, as is visible in the photos.
